The Municipality intends to interrupt the supply of electricity of the above-mentioned areas to carry out urgent repair work on the electrical network of the area.
Your installation must be treated as being live for the full duration of the maintenance period, as the power may be switched on before the time mentioned above. Please use electricity sparingly after switch-on to enable a smooth and stable energising process for all.
Eskom will implement Stage 2 load shedding from 21:00 on Tuesday evening until 05:00 on Wednesday morning.
The affected areas and times are as follows:
04:00 – 05:00 (Wednesday)
No other towns will be affected.
Kindly note that we’re experiencing an unplanned water interruption in Myburgh Park in Langebaan due to a recent pipe break.
Our technicians have commenced with repair works in order to restore the supply of water as soon as possible.

We would like to inform residents of a scheduled maintenance on the Ontec prepaid electricity vending system, which will affect the purchasing of prepaid electricity.
Maintenance will take place from 22:00 on Sunday, 18 April 2021 to 04:00 on Monday, 19 April 2021 (approximately 6 hours). During this timeframe, no prepaid electricity sales will be possible.

Kindly note that Saldanha Bay Municipality will temporarily interrupt the supply of water to the above mentioned areas in order to replace valves on the water distribution network in Boswewer Street.
The supply of water may be restored earlier than scheduled, without further notice, as soon as the works involved are completed. A water truck will be on standby during this period.
