Radio West Coast is a community radio station based in Vredenburg on the lovely West Coast of South Africa. We represent a diverse demographic and exciting mix of cultures. We aim to produce quality programme content that adds value to the everyday life of our listeners.

Saldanha Bay is known for it’s contrasts and natural beauty. It lis between the Berg Rivier mouth and the north and the West Coast National Park (Langebaan) in he south. It stretches inland to Hopefield with the Berg River in the northeast.
Cape West Coast Biosphere
From 2000, the West Coast stretching from the Milnerton Diep River in the South to the Berg River in the North became a Biosphere Reserve; this new status requires us that live here and those that visit to participate actively in the process to reach the objectives that all Biosphere Reserves must fulfill.
West Coast National Park
South African National Parks, (SANParks), manages a system of parks which represents the indigenous fauna, flora, landscapes and associated cultural heritage of the country. Of all the national parks, most have overnight tourist facilities, with an unrivalled variety of accommodation in arid, coastal, mountain and bushveld habitats.
Visit the West Coast Fossil Park close to Langebaan, Western Cape, South Africa. See the fossils of bears, sabre-tooth cats, short-necked giraffes and the many other exotic animals which inhabited the west coast area some 5 million years ago.
Cape West Coast
For many the Cape West Coast Peninsula (Saldanha Bay Municipal Region) typifies the West Coast with its quaint fishing villages, sea-side resorts and ever popular lagoon. It lies south of the Berg River mouth and includes the West Coast National Park, stretching inland to Hopefield.
