ELECTRICITY INTERRUPTION TO LANGEBAAN

Saldanha Bay Municipality’s technicians together with Eskom, are still attending to the greater Langebaan power outage. Given the extent of the fault, we are unable to provide an estimated time of repair at this stage.

The Eskom electricity feeder to Langebaan tripped at its substation earlier this evening. Langebaan electricity supply will be switched on when power supply from the Eskom substation has been restored.

We apologise for the inconvenience experienced and appeal for patience as we work on supply restoration in the area.

UNPLANNED ELECTRICITY INTERRUPTION TO DIAZVILLE, SALDANHA

We’re experiencing an unplanned electricity interruption to Trichard, Oester, Perlemoen, Kayamandi, the Avenues and surrounding area in Diazville, Saldanha due to a power surge after load shedding.

Our technicians are attending to the problem to ensure that the electricity supply is restored as soon as possible.

Residents are reminded to please switch off all non-essential electrical appliances during load shedding to avoid power surges when the power returns. Failure to do so may lead to unnecessary trips or damages to household appliances when the supply is restored.
